Welcome to Discovery Middle School!

At Discovery, we believe every student has the potential to achieve greatness. As we embark on the 2025–2026 school year, we are excited to expand our focus and continue building a school culture where students, staff, and families thrive together.

This year, we are RELAUNCHing into success—adding two powerful pillars to our vision. While we continue to embrace our L.A.U.N.C.H. values:

  • Learning First
  • Attitude Matters
  • Uplift Others
  • Normalize Hard Work
  • Check Your Assumptions
  • Have Fun

…we are also strengthening our foundation by focusing on:

  • Relationships – Building strong, positive connections that support academic and personal growth.
  • Empathy – Understanding and valuing others’ perspectives to create a more inclusive and caring community.

Discovery’s success is a direct result of the dedication and partnership between our talented faculty and staff, supportive families, and, most importantly, our students. Together, we are preparing our learners not just for middle school, but for lifelong success as empathetic, hardworking, and responsible individuals.

Whether you’re new to Discovery or returning for another exciting year, know that you are an essential part of what makes this such a special place. I encourage you to stay connected through our website, newsletters, and events as we continue to write the story of Discovery Middle School—one filled with achievement, growth, and community spirit.

Here’s to an outstanding year of learning, growing, and leading together.

With pride and gratitude,

Alex Stubenbort
