Canvas Parent Accounts

Observers are able to view Canvas courses that the student is enrolled in, including your own student's assignments, events, and course interactions. Observers do not have the ability to interact with any of content, submit assignments, or communicate with other students or observers in the course(s).

Digital Device Fines

Fines for lost or damaged laptops and chargers can be made using the link below. If a student has lost a charger, they must go to the media center for a replacement and to have the fine assessed before paying the fine.

Accident/Negligence 1st offense - Actual cost of repair/replacement up to $50
2nd offense - Actual cost of repair/replacement up to $100
3rd offense and beyond - Actual cost of repair/replacement
Intentional Acts 1st offense - Actual cost of repair/replacement up to $100

2nd offense and beyond - Actual cost of repair/replacement
Damaged/Lost or Missing Chargers 1st offense - Actual cost of replacement up to $10
2nd offense - Actual cost of replacement up to $25
3rd offense and beyond - Actual cost of replacement

Stolen Devices
There is NO financial penalty for a stolen device.
NOTE: To be classified as stolen, the device must have been taken by force or through forced entry and be classified as a theft in a police report naming OCPS as the victim. Items left unattended and taken from an unlocked or unsecured area are not considered stolen.

Skyward Parent Login

Skyward Family Access - LaunchPad Directions

Use the directions below to find out how to log into Skyward Family Access. You will first need to register for a LaunchPad account. Once your account is established in LaunchPad, you can then get to Skyward Family Access by clicking on the Skyward icon. LaunchPad is essentially a portal that will control your access to Skyward, Canvas and other OCPS parent software systems. As additional software systems are added to LaunchPad, additional icons will appear.
