I am originally from New York City, but call Central Florida my home. I attended Queens College, in New York City, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I then earned my master’s degree in Counseling from Ball State University. I continued my educational endeavor at Florida State University, where I earned my educational specialist degree in Multicultural Multilingual education, and by doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Florida.
The foundation of my educational philosophy is the firm belief I hold that all students can achieve.  I have carried this credence first as an ESOL teacher, then as a guidance counselor, and lastly, as an administrator both at the elementary and secondary levels. I have served at Discovery Middle School for 17 years as an assistant principal and now as the principal.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York and relocated to Orlando with my family while in high school. I am a proud graduate of Dr. Phillips High School – Go Panthers! I attended Rollins College, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Organizational Communication with a minor in English. I then attended Stetson University where I earned my master’s degree in Educational Leadership. I currently attend Southeastern University in Lakeland, where I am working towards my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership with a focus on Organizational Leadership.
I embarked upon my career in education at my alma mater, Dr. Phillips High School where I taught Language Arts and SAT prep. I then served as a dean at Ocoee Middle and soon thereafter became an assistant principal at Maitland Middle and now at Discovery Middle. As an educator, my greatest desire is to help students find their purpose and develop the skills, character, and mindset necessary for them to succeed in their future endeavors.
